Findings
Technique
The entire abdomen/pelvis is not covered on the exam. The most lateral soft tissues are not included. The region of interest is covered on the exam.
Lines, Tubes, Drains and Foreign Bodies
There are no lines, tubes, catheters, stents, or drains in place.
Stomach and Bowel Gas
The stomach is mildly distended with gas. There is mild distention with gas of multiple loops of small bowel in the mid abdomen, some dilated greater than 3 cm.
There is a paucity of gas in the colon.
There are centralized loops of small bowel with distention of the abdomen and pelvis.
There is no thickening of the SB wall or valvulae conniventes 3 mm or greater.
Solid Organs and Intra-Abdominal Soft Tissues
There is a small 4 mm left renal stone. The remaining abdominal organs are unremarkable.
Extraluminal Air
There is no free air, pneumatosis, or other extraluminal air.
Additional Abdominal and Pelvic Calcifications
There are no additional abdominal or pelvic calcifications.
Bones and Extra-Abdominal Soft Tissues
The bones and extra-abdominal soft tissues are unremarkable. There is no abnormality of the lung bases or diaphragm.
